Changes to CAO 100.5 explained
Read an explanation of recent changes to CAO 100.5 relating to certain maintenance issues.
Please note: A number of AD series names have been updated to reflect the current Type Certificate holder for each aircraft / engine type or in the case of equipment ADs, to more specifically reflect the equipment covered. This update is administrative only and there are no changes to compliance or applicability of the ADs in these series' resulting from this update. To facilitate an easy transition, a cross-reference between old and new AD series names has been included for each AD category and the link can be found at the top of each AD category page (i.e. Rotorcraft, Piston Engines, etc)

On 1 October 2009, Part 39 changed to incorporate automatic acceptance of State of Design ADs.
Although CASA provide this AD page as a service to industry, it is not the authoritative source for the legislation. For Australian ADs, please refer to www.comlaw.gov.au. For State of Design ADs, please refer to the website of the State of Design of the aircraft in question. While CASA make every effort to ensure the accuracy of the information on this page, ultimately it is the responsibility of the registered operator to ensure that they are aware of all applicable ADs for their aircraft.
