Support Functions

Other ancillary functions that a Part 145 AMO performs in support of its maintenance functions include:

• The making and retention of records of employees’ training and authorisations
• The making and retention of records of maintenance performed and associated maintenance certifications and releases to service issued on its behalf
• The receipt, assessment, acceptance or rejection and storage of aeronautical products for maintenance purposes in accordance with Part 42
