Part 42 also outlines the obligations for individuals and organisations regarding maintenance certifications and CRS for aircraft and aeronautical products. For example, it permits licence holders, specialist maintenance employees and some flight crew to provide maintenance certifications for maintenance carried out. It also allows these people (except for specialist maintainers) to issue a CRS for aircraft.
