Authorising Employees

Following aircraft maintenance training and assessment, a Part 145 AMO may authorise employees to maintain aircraft or aeronautical products, perform maintenance certification and issue certificates of release to service, all on the organisation’s behalf.

This is subject to employees holding requisite qualifications and having been shown to be competent for the functions required.
