Differences: CAR 30
On 27 June 2011 - CASR Part 147 will affect the following:
Holders of a CAR 30 certificate of approval for aircraft maintenance type training and examinations
RTO that want to commence delivering the nationally endorsed Aeroskills Training Package under the AQTF
for Part 66 licence outcomes
Both groups will have to:
Apply for approval under Part 147
Submit an exposition, including course plans, for CASA approval
CAR 30 for MTO will remain in effect until 26 June 2013. After that date, all remaining CAR 30 MTO approvals will be cancelled. CASA will not recognise any continued aircraft licence and aircraft type training for licence or type rating endorsement purposes unless a CASR Part 147 approval has been sought and granted.
