Continuing airworthiness requirements for aircraft and aeronautical products
Differences: Maintenance and Reliability Programs
CASR Part 42 sets out the requirements for the approval of proposed aircraft maintenance programs (AMPs) and changes to them. For any aircraft operated in RPT operations, the first maintenance program must be approved by CASA.
Part 42 establishes requirements for the approval and variation of Reliability Programs for certain aircraft to ensure the effectiveness of their Maintenance Program.
