Continuing airworthiness requirements for aircraft and aeronautical products
Differences: Airworthiness Reviews continued
The Airworthiness Review Process is intended to provide assurance of compliance to airworthiness requirements and, therefore, complements the certificate of airworthiness (CoA).
There is a direct relationship between the CoA and the airworthiness review certificate. If a CoA is cancelled or suspended, the airworthiness review certificate is automatically taken to be void as well.
Note: Under Part 42, the Registered Operator of an RPT aircraft must not operate or permit the operation of the aircraft if there is no airworthiness review certificate in force for the aircraft.
